## Abstract

Popular narratives regarding Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) emphasize the egalitarian democratization of high-tier cognitive execution, proposing that conversational interfaces allow non-experts to command complex technical domains seamlessly. This paper refutes this techno-utopian paradigm by constructing a mathematical and institutional framework around two structural constraints: The Scarcity of Sockets and The Commander’s Paradox. We demonstrate that while GAI reduces the marginal cost of information synthesis to near zero, it exponentially increases the economic premium on verified domain intuition and tail-risk ownership. Because strategic decision-making positions ("sockets") remain structurally bounded by organizational hierarchies and risk concentration, AI integration compresses mid-tier knowledge work. The resulting equilibrium is a hyper-polarized dual labor market comprising a tiny, highly compensated elite of System Orchestrators who bear risk and audit synthetic outputs, and a disposable mass of Biological Interfaces relegated to routine physical or prompt-driven execution.
