## Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence in the labor field, in order to determine whether it represents a risk or an opportunity for the future of employment, as well as to evaluate the transformation of the labor market in the face of the growing presence of this technology. A systematic literature review was conducted based on a structured process that included the identification, selection, and evaluation of scientific studies, starting from a set of 350 research articles obtained from recognized academic databases, published between 2020 and 2025. After a rigorous exclusion process, which involved the analysis of titles, abstracts, removal of duplicates, and the exclusion of studies not related to the variable of interest, 40 articles were selected for analysis. The results showed that artificial intelligence improved efficiency and optimized processes, although it also raised concerns about the possible displacement of jobs. Likewise, it was evidenced that the development of digital competencies and soft skills contributed to mitigating the risks of unemployment and promoting the creation of new jobs. In this sense, artificial intelligence represents an opportunity if strategies are implemented to strengthen employability and facilitate adaptation to technological changes.
